Standing Her Ground: Audio Samples

These audio samples come from earlier versions of the opera. Because character names, story, scene structure, and dialogue have all changed in Standing Her Ground, only a few audio samples from the earlier versions remain relevant. Samples accompanied by piano (Dallas Heaton) were recorded at a workshop of revisions by Utah Festival Opera in 2015. Samples accompanied by orchestra are excerpts from the premiere of the opera’s first version by Doña Ana Lyric Opera (a university/community company) in Las Cruces in 2001.
